In addition to calling
in an absence for illness, it has been recommended by our District Office that
parents send a doctor's note to the Attendance Office for extended absences due
to illness or injury. If your
student is absent for five (5) or more consecutive days, please send a doctor's note
to confirm the absences.
Students returning to
school after injuries which necessitate crutches must have a doctor's note
stating specifically that the student may attend school on crutches. Students returning to school after
being diagnosed with a contagious medical condition must have a doctor’s
release. All doctors' notes are
processed through the Health Office.
