In 2009, the faculty came to consensus and adopted the following Schoolwide Focus: The schoolwide instructional focus of Crescenta Valley High School is to have students show growth in critical thinking as measured by a greater percentage of students fulfilling or exceeding the A-G requirements and earning higher scores on the STAR/CAPA and CAHSEE.
