Membership Drive - Still on!

It's not too late to join! Perhaps you are a new family, or you forgot to join in the fall. Fortunately, PTSA membership is year 'round, and we could still use your support. Thank you to all those who have already joined, but we are still about 100 members short of our challenge to reach 915 members - please help us meet that challenge. Remember that your membership benefits the entire student population at CV. Seniors who become PTSA members are eligible to apply for local and state PTSA scholarships. In addition, membership entitles you to exclusive member perks including discounts on school supplies, rental cars, amusement parks and more. Go to the Membership link at left for our membership application.

A Message from the CVHS PTSA President

Welcome to the 2016-2017 school year! My name is Laurie Dunkin and I am honored and excited to be serving as the president of PTSA at Crescenta Valley High School. CVHS PTSA has and will continue to play an active role in your student’s experience by working closely with the school administration and teaching staff.
“Be the One” is our theme for this year. A goal of our PTSA is to create an environment where our students, parents, staff and teachers can build a stronger relationship with each other. I challenge you to “Be the One” involved and part of the school community. “Be the One” helping to make a difference for all of our students. PTSA is one of the strongest voices in the educational process that directly supports our students and school. This year will be no different. Your PTSA has been focused on preparing an enhanced educational environment for all of our students and will remain vigilant in our pursuit of educational excellence.

An effective and successful PTSA requires the support and involvement of our community, parents and students. It is vital. Your first opportunity to show support is to become a member of the Crescenta Valley High School PTSA. CVHS PTSA has provided much needed funding to our school. As a result of your generous support and contributions to our Donation Drive, we have been able to purchase and install Smartboards, maintain 4 defibrillators on campus for emergency use, provide funding for student clubs and the school website, provide voice amplification systems as well as upgrade technology equipment, and more. Your donations have also funded programs, including "Senior Reflections Night", “Every 15 Minutes”, “Rachel’s Challenge”, “Career Day”, "Reflections" and "Challenge Success".
Please help us in our efforts to provide the best learning environment where our students can thrive. Join us in both our Membership and Donation Drives. The cost of membership is only $10. For more information, visit the PTSA page on our school website at You can also find information on our Facebook page at If you or your student has a thought or a suggestion that you would like to share, please contact me at:
